Classes We offer the following classes in both a 55 minute and 45 minute format. On the online scheduler you will see the time frame indicated. In our 45 minute format, class will move along more quickly with less breaks however you will still receive all the same content as you would in the longer version.
barre n9ne® method Our signature class. barre n9ne® method combines Pilates, ballet, and weight training. The class has an intense pace with no-impact, while burning fat and increasing stamina. Includes upper body work with free weights followed by effective barre work to tone the legs and seat which create long, lean muscles. Finally we end with core work and stretching. This class is safe for all ages and fitness levels. The barre will be utilized in this class.
barre fusion This class utilizes lightly weighted balls and resistance bands to tone the upper body followed by thigh work at the ballet barre to sculpt your legs. Finally you will finish with glutes and abs and a much deserved stretch! Your legs will get toned, your core stronger, your arms more sculpted, your back defined....the list goes on! This class is safe for all ages and fitness levels. The barre will be utilized in this class.
fusion A total body class performed entirely on the mat! We will use all our non-barre exercises for lower body combined with balls and bands for upper body. The result- a perfect blend to give you incredible workout! Safe for all ages and fitness levels. The barre will NOT be utilized in this class.
sculpt Otherwise known as “instructors’ choice” and formally known as TFFR for those who have been rocking with us since 2010! This is a total body class that utilizes a variety of equipment to keep the content both fresh and challenging. Each class is different, and any exercises found in our other classes are all fair game! You are guaranteed to SWEAT without any typical "cardio" moves. Sculpt is a total body class that is designed to accommodate all ages and fitness levels. This class may or may not utilize the ballet barre. Class is performed barefoot or in grip socks.
total body burn A class designed to build strength and endurance through low impact movements that will get your heart rate up and leave you feeling empowered! We will combine signature barre n9ne exercises and traditional strength training movements as we take you through creative sequences with short active rest periods. This class is safe for all ages and fitness levels. Class is performed barefoot or wearing grip socks.
arms, abs & booty Sculpt your arms, tone your abs, lift your booty? Yes please! We will work your core to the max while helping you get shapely shoulders, toned triceps, a strong back & beautiful biceps! Our favorite booty sculpting exercises will be found in this class and you will love how you look and feel after. The barre will not typically be utilized in this class but the instructor may choose to incorporate it.
barre burn A total body class performed entirely at the ballet barre. This class will get your heart rate up and into maximum calorie burning mode utilizing light weights, resistance bands and the ballet barre! Combines strength and explosiveness to activate and integrate all the major and under utilized muscle groups for an extremely fun and SWEATY workout! Barre burn is set to motivating and upbeat music. This class is safe for all ages and fitness levels. Class is performed barefoot or with sticky/grip socks. Safe for expecting women.
rock your body You will use weights to tone your upper body and the mat to tone your lower body! This class is essentially the reverse of our barre fusion class! You will begin with upper body exercises utilizing 2 and 3lb weights, followed by abdominal work and ending with our favorite lower body mat based sequences! This fun and incredibly effective class focuses on proper form and correct alignment to tone your body and create long, lean muscles. This class is safe for all ages and fitness levels and does not utilize the ballet barre.
barre n9ne® cardio Be prepared to SWEAT! This class will get your heart rate up and leave you sweating with 30 minutes of easy to follow cardio moves followed by our signature barre n9ne® method class! To top it off we end with effective abdominal exercises, glute work and stretching to maintain flexibility. Please bring clean indoor sneakers, a towel and water! Individuals who have knee issues who cannot do any sort of jumping should let the instructor know prior to attending class. This class is not designed for women who are expecting or who are less than 6 weeks post partum.
baby barre® baby barre® classes are ideal for babies 6 weeks-10 months, traditionally non-mobile babies who can fit in (and like to be in!) carriers. However we know how hard it is for moms to get in a workout so we do our best to accommodate new little movers!
baby barre® is an ideal way to rebalance your body and rejuvenate your energy by concentrating on specific postpartum areas that need extra attention while enjoying time with your baby and building social connections. Enhance your sense of body awareness and positive body image, improve balance, strengthen muscles and reduce stress and fatigue
Babies are gently and safely incorporated into the class. From "kiss ups" to airplane," this class is great for beginners and experienced exercisers. Nursing, feeding, walking, bouncing and crying are normal activities here! Please bring a sling or baby carrier, a receiving blanket and your baby's favorite toy as well!
