Studio Classes

barre n9ne® classes will tone your seat, abdominals, thighs, and arms; strengthen your legs and back; and improves posture to produce an overall more fit and lean body. Each series is designed to target and overload your muscles to the point of fatigue, which are then stretched for relief creating long, lean muscles. The barre n9ne® method is truly a body sculpting, fat burning workout all in 57 minutes!

Our signature class. Our method combines Pilates, ballet, and weight training. The class has an intense pace with no-impact, while burning fat and increasing stamina. Includes upper body work with free weights followed by intense barre work to tone the legs and seat which create long, lean muscles. Finally we end with core work and stretching.

A combination of our two most popular classes: barre n9ne® method & fusion! You get a total body workout utilizing a variety of fitness equipment. Your legs will get slimmer, your abs flatter, your arms more toned, your back stronger and more defined....the list goes on!

This class will get your heart rate up and leave you sweating with 30 minutes of fun (tanya style!) cardio followed by our signature barre n9ne® method class! To top it off we end with effective abdominal exercises, glute work and stretching to create long lean muscles! Bring clean indoor sneakers, a towel and water.

Do you want long lean legs, a lifted seat, rock hard abs, & sleek sexy arms? Work your entire body with a mix of all of our non-barre exercises. A perfect blend to get you fabulously fit! Safe for all ages and fitness levels and we do not utilize the barre in this class.

One of our most sold out classes! Say farewell to that annoying jiggle after a few classes! A total body class aimed at targeting those tough-to-tone areas. It’s not going to be easy, but nothing worth working for ever is. Put yourself to the test - fitting into your skinny jeans will be your reward. This class utilizes the ballet barre & a variety of equipment to both keep the content fresh and to challenge its participants.

Hate that jiggle when you wave goodbye? Want a tight flat stomach with no muffin top?? Then this is the class for YOU. We will work your core to the max while helping you get shapley shoulders, toned triceps, & beautiful biceps! You will love how you look in that strapless dress, bikini or tank top!

Lose those extra inches in your thighs and get lean legs all by taking this class! How could you not after working your legs (and butt) for an hour! This class is for all levels, and does not included barre work.

Congratulations moms to be! The next nine months are going to be very special. The baby barre workout is specifically designed to keep you fit, strong and feeling fantastic throughout the morning sickness, cravings and unprovoked mood swings. This class maintains the same values on sculpting and toning with special focus on breath control, increasing spine mobility, lower abdominal and pelvic floor strengthening. The benefits you will gain from this class are reduced back pain, strong, toned arms and legs and increased energy and stamina. This also makes it easier for your body to bounce back once your bundle of joy arrives, and after all… it's the only barre it's cool to hang out in when you're expecting!

Please note: ladies who are expecting are welcome to take our regular classes.  All of our instructors are trained in offering and demonstrating the appropriate modifications to anyone expecting. We recommend our barre n9ne® method class and barre fusion class while you are expecting as these are structured classes and the abdominal work is always at the end of the class.  barre n9ne® cardio and Pound Rockout Workout are not recommended for those who are expecting.

mommy & me {non movers- level 1}

(Designed for babies 6 weeks-7 months, non-mobile babies)

This class is an ideal way to rebalance your body and rejuvenate your energy by concentrating on specific postpartum areas that need extra attention while enjoying time with your baby and building social connections. Enhance your sense of body awareness and positive body image, improve balance, strengthen muscles and reduce stress and fatigue  Babies are gently and safely incorporated into the class. From "kiss ups" to airplane," this class is great for beginners and experienced exercisers.  This class is open to babies who are not actively crawling. Nursing, feeding, walking, bouncing and crying are normal activities here! Please bring a sling or baby carrier, a receiving blanket and your baby's favorite toy as well!


mommy & me {movers- level 2} COMING SOON!

(Designed for babies 7 months-15 months-rollers, crawlers, walkers = movers!)

This class is very similiar to our level 1 class, however, it is strategically designed for your "moving" baby! Babies on the younger side may still enjoy being in the baby carrier and close to mom during barre work, while older babies will enjoy interacting with the other little ones playing with toys and listening to fun music! Both mom and baby will have a fun filled class working out and bonding in a great atmosphere! Please bring a receiving blanket, carrier, and your baby's favorite toys! Registration is required, unfortunately we cannot accept walk-ins as space is limited.


monkey barre FREE babysitting!

Complimentary babysitting for moms taking class!  (during select times only. Currently only offered at our Danvers location). We have gymnastics mats, a parachute, tons of musical instruments, a toddler friendly balance beam, toys, crayons, coloring books and more! Your child will experience all of the fun and exercise of the monkey barre with our trained staff!

HOW TO SIGN UP YOUR CHILD FOR MONKEY BARRE: Space is limited and reservations are required.
 
1. Sign yourself up for class under your own login (the one you typically use to sign up for class!)
2. Create a login for your child. If you are bringing two kids you must create a login for each child. Schedule "monkey barre" for each child. Please go back and ensure BOTH kids coming to monkey barre are registered since space is limited :)

when it's time for your little one to graduate from our mommy and me baby barre classes he/she moves on to barre tots! Our fun filled toddler age class, fit with gymnastics mat, a balance beam, musical instruments, a parachute, stimulating music and much much more!

barre n9ne®  studio is the ONLY studio on the North Shore that offers POUND - Rockout. Workout™! POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn between 600 and 900 calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favorite music!
Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™, you'll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, Pounding off pounds as each song flies by.
